Simon Capó (our founder’s father) first made a living by fixing furniture. He perfected his trade and used it to open a chain of furniture stores called Casa Capo, which sold handmade furniture. The first store opened in 1928 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. The company was managed by different generations of Capos, who maintained a tradition of giving back to their community.
