How to Prepare for Delivery

When it comes to your delivery, we want to make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable and confident. Check out our step-by-step guide, so you know exactly what to expect before, during and after your delivery day. Before Delivery 1. Confirm your delivery date and address Two days prior to your delivery, you’ll receive a text message and email to confirm your delivery date and address. Once you confirm, the items being delivered will be listed.If we don’t hear from you via text or email, we’ll give you an automated phone call. Your delivery will be cancelled if we are unable to get in contact with you. 2. Give us the details, and we’ll take care of the rest Our number one priority is to ensure that every delivery runs as smoothly as possible. That’s why our sales associates will ask you a few questions to help us better understand your space, so we can make any arrangements prior to your delivery day.For example, if a service elevator is needed during delivery, our team will: Get in touch with your superintendent (We will ask you to provide us with their contact information). Reserve a time for our arrival. Coordinate which elevator and loading bay are available to our drivers. 3. Prep your space Currently, our services do not include furniture removal, and we do not deliver to homes in construction, so please make sure your furniture is out of the way and your space is clear before we arrive.FOR MATTRESS ORDERS ONLY: If you purchase a mattress, our team can remove and dispose of your old mattress. Just tell one of our sales associates in-store or put in your request online at checkout under Special Notes. 4. Check your delivery time One day prior to your delivery, we encourage you to: Check your phone for a second text message with the delivery time frame. This is a rough estimate of when your furniture will arrive. Mark the time on your calendar. Review steps 1-4 to make sure you and your home are ready for delivery day! On Delivery Day 5. Track your delivery Once the driver is on their way to your home, you’ll receive a text message with the estimated time of arrival and a Google map link, so you can track the delivery truck. Please note that someone 18 years or older must be available to accept the delivery.
6. Sit back and relax while we get to work At El Dorado Furniture, we don’t just drop off your item at the door. As part of our White Glove Delivery Service, we take exceptional care of your product from start to finish. This includes: Unpacking and uncrating, Inspection and preparation, Delivery to your room of choice, Placement and assembly, Removal of debris associated with delivery. Drop-off shipping (online only) does not qualify. After Delivery 7. Tell us about your experience Your feedback matters! After the delivery is completed, our team will send you a survey by email, so you can share your thoughts with us. As always, we strive to deliver a 5-star service at all times. 8.
