At El Dorado Furniture, we take pride in our Hispanic roots and the values that define our company. Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated from September 15 to October 15, is a time to honor the rich culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities across the United States.
The Capó Family Legacy
Founded in 1967 by Manuel Capó after bravely leaving Cuba in search of freedom for himself and his family, the El Dorado Furniture family business began with a dream to provide quality furniture and service to the community. Over five decades later, El Dorado Furniture has grown into the largest Hispanic-owned furniture retailer in the U.S., with nineteen showroom locations expanding throughout Florida and a popular online store. We continue to operate with the same core principles of family, perseverance, and community.
A Family Business at Heart
Our dedication to keeping the business family-owned sets El Dorado Furniture apart. Now led by the second and third generations of the Capó family, we remain committed to offering an experience that blends tradition with innovation, as seen in our signature “Boulevard” store design.
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Through Community
Hispanic Heritage Month is a special time for us, as a company and as a family. Our success is rooted in the support of our community, and we are proud to give back through various initiatives and partnerships. This month, we reflect on our journey and express gratitude for the customers, employees, and partners who have made it possible.
As we look toward the future, we will continue to build on the foundation of our cultural heritage and family values. Thank you for being part of our story.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from everyone at El Dorado Furniture!
