El Dorado Furniture, one of the top 50 furniture retailers in the nation, has been serving Florida’s communities for 53 years. Yes, you read that right. More than half a century of furnishing homes.
It’s always been our goal to bring families together and to make their houses feel like home (and in style, of course). We know the importance of family, as it is one of our values. Just ask any of our very own employees- we are one big El Dorado Furniture Family. We also extend this same, warm feeling to our customers as they too, are family. To us, there is no better feeling in knowing that we are a part of their story. After all, without you, we wouldn’t be who we are today.
El Dorado Furniture first opened its doors on June 27th, 1967 with its first, original store in the Heart of Miami. Now in 2020, we stand proud with 17 locations from coast to coast in Florida and with more to come. The sail boat, a symbol so close to us, was the start of an amazing voyage and is what has led us to our destination: the American Dream.
We still hear our favorite word “ WOW” when we see familiar faces along with new customers as they are greeted in our showrooms by our friendly staff and our well-known, unique boulevard concept. Whether they are picking out that trendy sofa for their living room or the perfect bedroom set for their special oasis- we make visions come to life. Our customers dream it, we deliver it- while always striving for our everyday goal of providing a 5-Star Service.
Giving back to the community is also one of our core values and our way of saying “thank you” for the unconditional support we have received since our very start. We take pride in partnering with various organizations always with one goal in mind: in making a difference. We are not just a brand, there’s a heart behind it. We look forward to continuing this for the years to come.
Just like other companies, we have gone through our highs and our lows. This year in 2020, we have all been affected by the global pandemic in one way or another.
“As we celebrate our 53rd anniversary this year, especially with everything that is happening around the world, we are reminded of the importance of our customers and employees,” says Pedro Capó, Chief Operations Officer. “They have supported us in good times and in bad, and we will continue to provide our endless mission: Doing everything humanly possible to continue to WOW all of our Customers, Always.”
But one thing we do know for sure is that our journey will continue on and we will come out of this stronger than ever.
